Rathokolo Mokgadi is an experienced South African Oral Hygienist and clinical educator with 8 years of specialized experience in orthodontic practice.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Hygiene from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) in 2017, a program that included an international student exchange at Jönköping University in Sweden focusing on healthcare improvement and oral health. Dedicated to advancing public dental health, she is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health at the University of Pretoria.
Her professional career highlights include:
• Clinical Practice: Since 2018, she has served as the Senior Oral Hygienist at the Mafikeng Dental Centre. Her role focuses heavily on long-term orthodontic patient care, preventative hygiene maintenance, cephalometric tracing, and treatment support, alongside supervising junior clinical staff.
• Clinical Education: Since 2019, she has worked as an Orthodontic Workshop Facilitator at the Ortho Academy. In this role, she provides essential practical and theoretical training in orthodontic treatment planning, assessments, and clinical support to dentists and other dental professionals.
