About
Dr Ratsatsi Tadi is an innovative South African dentist, clinical educator, and entrepreneur born in Hertzogville, Free State, with nearly two decades of clinical experience.
Dr Tadi earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU/MEDUNSA) in 2007. After building a strong clinical foundation in the public health sector from 2008 to 2015, he transitioned into private practice at Comfort Dental Care. To further elevate his clinical skills, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics in 2020.
A passionate advocate for technology-driven patient care, Dr Tadi focuses heavily on the digital transformation of modern dentistry:
• Clinical Specialisations: His private practice covers general dentistry, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and a deep focus on endodontics. He is particularly invested in digital dentistry, utilising intraoral scanning, 3D printing, and CAD/CAM workflows to pioneer digital dentures and digital removable prosthodontics.
• Educational Initiatives: He is the co-founder of the Digital Smile Academy, an educational platform that helps dental professionals integrate advanced digital workflows into their daily routines.
• Business Leadership: He is a co-founder and director of OMERI Holdings, a collaborative initiative dedicated to advancing continuing dental education and professional development across the sector.
Dr Tadi is married to Dr Kgomotso Tadi, and they have three children. Outside of the clinic, his passions for innovation and creativity carry over into his hobbies, which include photography, videography, and flying drones.
