Reimagining the Business of a Dental Practice

About this session
Dental school teaches us how to diagnose, treat, and care for patients, but does it teach us how to build and run a successful dental business?
Many dental practitioners enter private practice highly skilled clinically, but with limited preparation in entrepreneurship, eadership, financial management, marketing, people management, and business strategy. Yet the moment we own a practice, we become more than clinicians, we become entrepreneurs.
This presentation challenges dental practitioners to shift their perception of what it means to own a dental practice. Through practical insights and real-world experience, it explores how dental practitioners can move from simply working in
the practice to intentionally working on the practice, while balancing clinical excellence, ethical care, patient experience, and business sustainability.
The session invites practitioners to reimagine their practices, not merely as places where dentistry is performed, but as businesses, brands, workplaces and patient experiences that require intentional leadership and strategy.
The goal is simple: shift the way we think about practice, so we can shift the way we build it.
